My PHR Story: I saw an appeal for members and decided I would like to try and cheer the patients up. I had been a member of other community radio in the past and wanted to do it again. I first joined as a ward walker and then became back up on tuesday evenings before getting a programme on Wednesday and then moving to my present programme on a Monday evening.
Being a committee member: In previous years I was the ward walking co-ordinator.
Being a presenter: I present my show on Monday evening along with my invaluable back up crew. The show includes patient requests and dedications. Also included is the weekly poser/conundrum and a selection of one hit wonders.
Being me: I am retired from paid employment, but my wife and I keep ourselves very busy at home and also visiting our family who live in North Devon.
