My PHR story: I joined Phoenix in 2009. Following my induction on a Tuesday night perfecting the skills to win the Steve Cooper 'Now' quiz and 'It doesn't have to be dirty' quiz I started my own show in March 2010. On a Tuesday night I struck up my long running radio relationships with Ed Hardiman & Steve Freeman. Ed & Steve joined me for the successful pilot of the Sunday morning lie in in May 2010 and the rest as they say is history...

Being a presenter: Ever since broadcasting to myself in my bedroom at the tender age of 12 I wanted to be involved in radio. After presenting on Radio Lonsdale and Radio Cavell I took a break to run my own mobile disco business 'Disco Knights' I came back to radio in 2004 presenting Drivetime on Wharfedale FM. As a presenter, thinking that I have brought a smile to someone's face, somewhere in the world is amazing. I love to innovate, devise new radio features, and share music I feel passionate about, which I promise extends beyond the 80s, Adele and Clare Maguire!

Being me: Phoenix is the complete antidote to the trials and tribulations of my day job. When not at work, or Phoenix I spend what little time is left with my wife Claire and beautiful new daughter Charlotte. Working with the S Crew on the Sunday morning lie in is certainly good practice for a new baby.
