My PHR Story: I joined PHR due to having free time on my hands and wanting to use this to help others. DJ’ing from the age of 9, I believed hospital radio would be the best way to go, leading me to join PHR. I initially became back up crew on a Monday night show, eventually getting my own show on s Tuesday evening.
Being a Committee Member: In previous years I have been the Technical Officer for the radio, however in February 2009 I was elected Station Manager and I am really enjoying this position and thriving on the tasks it involves. I enjoy the technical aspect of the radio most, coming from an engineering background.
Being a Presenter: I enjoy presenting my show on a Tuesday evening between 9. My show includes patient’s requests and dedications along with several features including the popular quiz ‘It Doesn’t Have To Be Dirty’ and ‘The Now Quiz’.
Being Me: I enjoy my job as a Technical Investigation Engineer on the railway and in my spare time enjoy learning to fly, photography and visiting my family who live in Eastbourne.
